| APPLICATIONS |
Fast mixing of granular or powdered components and relative dispersion of
pigments and liquid/solid additives. Mixing of liquids with equal or
different viscosity. Residence time, rotation speed, temperature and
configuration of mixing elements are varying working parameters that make
the mixer the ideal compounder in different processing fields. LICO technology is successfully applied to those fields requiring ready to pack mixes as detergents, foods, fertilizers, feed -and to produce mixes subject to further processing- extrusion, reaction, melting, grinding, compacting. |
| ADVANTAGES |
With same production parameters, the continuous mixer has smaller
dimensions than the standard discontinuous mixer. Thanks to a continuous
process the volume of materials to be mixed is diluted in time, meaning
simpler operation, power savings and shortened intervals in formulation
changing. The continuous mixer is uniformly fed by LICO's loss-in-weight system, ensuring the excellent homogenization of the components. The mixer's output corresponds exactly to what is packed afterwards or processed downstream. Intermediate storage - where mixed components tend to separate - is eliminated. No more composition differences in the end product. |
